Calici di stelle in Montepulciano is the midsummer night awaited by wine lovers. The 2022 edition will make the public dream with the elegance of Montepulciano, where the embrace of beauty and taste becomes magic, with a new format that combines itinerant tastings and guided tastings in exclusive locations in the Renaissance village. The tastings
From 6:00pm / Itinerant tasting (€ 15 coupon star)Piazza Grande - Sant'Agostino
The traditional format of Calici di Stelle. You will buy a coupon star and you will receive the glass and the glass holder that will accompany you in the tasting of five wines, two labels of Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG and three of Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, in the two points of Piazza Grande and Sant'Agostino with the sommeliers FISAR.

Tasting of 3 labels of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG guided by the producers and at the presence of the FISAR sommeliers. Paired with wines: extra virgin olive oil, Chianina tartare or local cheeses and pappa al pomodoro. The atmosphere will be completed by the performance of the musicians of the H.W. Henze of Montepulciano.

Terrace of Vicolo del Leone (close by the Municipality building)
A secret corner of beauty few steps away from Piazza Grande in Montepulciano; is the panoramic terrace located at the end of Vicolo del Leone, adjacent to the Town Hall. The walls of the historic buildings protect this pretty square, which for the occasion of Calici di Stelle in Montepulciano becomes the exclusive lounge in the village.

Loggiato della Canonica di San Biagio - Book here
You will taste the three labels of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano amdmiring the temple of San Biagio, Antonio da Sangallo's masterpiece, is the Canonica, an elegant late Renaissance work with a double loggia and five large arches. The colors of the evening warm the travertine walls and accompany the tastings with a unique show, given by the perfect combination of man-made work and natural landscape.

In the historic center of Montepulciano, few steps from Piazza Grande, there is Via di Pie al Sasso, an alley close to the ancient walls of Montepulciano where you can breathe the authentic atmosphere of the town and where you can admire one of the best landscape of Valdichiana Senese. Some of the most evocative underground cellars of the historic center are nearby. In addition to the exclusive tasting of the Nobile di Montepulciano, the location will host a special magic show for children.

Montepulciano wines will accompany dinners in the eight contrate of Bravìo delle Botti. Buy the bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG or Rosso DOC directly in the contrada, at the official desk of Calici di Stelle.
